SBI Clerk Exam Syllabus Breakdown
The SBI Clerk exam selection process involves two stages:
1. Preliminary Examination: This is an objective test with three sections:
- English Language: Tests your grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing skills.
- Numerical Ability: Assesses your mathematical abilities and problem-solving skills in areas like arithmetic, algebra, percentages, etc.
- Reasoning Ability: Evaluates your logical thinking and reasoning skills through puzzles, arrangements, syllogisms, etc.
2. Main Examination: This is also an objective test with four sections:
- General/ Financial Awareness: Tests your knowledge of current affairs, banking concepts, economic policies, and financial markets.
- General English: Similar to the preliminary exam but might cover more advanced topics.
- Quantitative Aptitude: Similar to the preliminary exam but might involve more complex calculations.
- Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude: Combines reasoning ability with basic computer knowledge like hardware, software, and internet usage.
Important Note:
- Questions (except for General English) in both exams will be printed in English and Hindi (bilingual).
