Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th class) from a recognized board.

Salary and Benefits (SSC MTS)

• Basic Pay: ₹18,000 per month
• Pay Scale: ₹5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay ₹1,800
• Gross Salary: ₹23,000 – ₹26,000 per month
• In-Hand Salary: ₹16,915 – ₹20,245 per month (after deductions)

How to Apply Online

Candidates interested in applying for the SSC MTS and Havaldar Recruitment 2025 should follow these steps:

1. One-Time Registration (OTR):

   • Visit the official SSC website: https://ssc.gov.in/.
   • If you are a new user, click on “New User? Register Now” and complete the One-Time Registration process. This involves providing basic personal details, contact information (mobile number and email ID), and setting a password. You will receive a Registration ID and password.
   • Note: OTR from the old SSC website (ssc.nic.in) is invalid on the new portal.

2. Login:

   • Log in to the SSC portal using your Registration ID and password.

3. Fill the Application Form:

   • Once logged in, navigate to the “Apply” section and click on the link for “Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination, 2025.”
   • The form will auto-fill some details from your OTR.
   • Fill in all remaining required details such as educational qualifications, preferred exam centers (three choices from the same SSC region), and other relevant information.

4. Upload Documents:

   • Live Photo: The new SSC portal captures a live photo using your webcam/mobile device. Ensure good lighting and a plain background. Do not upload a pre-clicked photo.
   • Scanned Signature: Upload a scanned copy of your signature in JPEG/JPG format (10 KB to 20 KB, dimensions approx. 4.0 cm x 2.0 cm, in black ink on white paper).
   • Other documents like Matriculation (10th class) certificate, caste/category certificate (if applicable), disability certificate (if applicable), etc., are required for verification during document verification, but primarily the live photo and scanned signature are uploaded with the application form.

5. Pay Application Fee:

   • If applicable (General/EWS/OBC male candidates), pay the application fee of ₹100/- online using BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.
   • SC/ST/PwD and all female candidates are exempted from the fee.

6. Preview and Submit:

   • Review all the details filled in the application form carefully. Use the “Preview/Print” option to check for any errors and verify the uploaded photo and signature.
   • After verifying all details, click on “Final Submit.”
   • Download and print a copy of the submitted application form for your records.
